New to Salsa?

If you’re new to salsa and don’t know where to start, don’t worry – we’ve got you covered! Our beginner courses are a perfect introduction to the amazing world of dance.

Worried you have two left feet or no sense of rhythm? We believe that if you can walk you can dance too (it’s all about muscle memory right?) also PLEASE NOTE – DANCE IS ADDICTIVE!!!!

Want to start your salsa journey but don’t have a partner to dance with? Don’t worry! Everyone rotates during the class so you will get to dance with everyone.

Structured course

We provide structured courses with a clearly outlined schedule so you know exactly what you will learn.

You will receive personal feedback throughout the course to help you improve your dancing

NO DANCE EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Two left feet? don’t worry we are not scared to take on a challenge! Just bring your feet (with or without rhythm) and you’ll be taken care of!

SALSA CUBANA

…is a style of salsa that originated in Cuba. It is a fun partner dance, danced in a circular motion.

BACHATA

…originated in the Dominican Republic. Commonly known as a very sensual dance – however, here at Salsa Solent, we aim to focus more on fun & dance technique than sensuality.

OPEN LEVEL. This class is right for you if you want to take your dance skills to next level or simply want to challenge yourself a bit in friendly and supportive environment.
Focus on dance technique & body movement.
Dance experience recommended.

Social dancing

Salsa and Bachata classes & social, suitable for all levels.
