Salsa Cubana, Choreography Course, Rumba, Man Styling, Ruda de Casino

Xaris Babainho is a greek salsa instructor and choreographer. Started dancing in 2011 in his hometown, Thessaloniki, and after two full years of salsa and Latin training, he decided he had a passion for Cuban salsa, aka “casino”, and salsa Rueda.

He has attended classes of the greatest teachers and salsa dancers in the world inc. Alberto Valdez, Yoandy Villarutia, Diana Rodriguez , Andy Gonzalo Varona etc. And he was part of various salsa Rueda teams with distinctions both in Greece and abroad. His teaching bio includes teaching at the biggest dance school in Greece, Danza Fuerte and teaching-performing in salsa festivals all over Europe. His biggest accomplishment is the creation of the salsa Rueda team “Chapados de casino”, a team that won the greek championship two times and competed at the highest level in European championships. The team counts in total seven trophies.

His last project was “Salsa Auth” which is until today the biggest dance community in Greece based in Thessaloniki, supported by the local university and counting over 300 student dancers each year. He created, alongside his fellow teachers, five teams – from amateur to pro level – that performed in festivals and competitions in Greece and abroad.
