Salsa Cubana

…is a style of salsa that originated in Cuba. It is a fun partner dance, danced in a circular motion.

Bachata

…originated in the Dominican Republic. Commonly known as a very sensual dance – however, here at Salsa Solent, we aim to focus more on fun & dance technique than sensuality.

Rueda De Casino

…style of dance originated in Cuba, and the basic steps are similar to Cuban style salsa. However, instead of each couple dancing individually, couples dancing rueda form a circle.

Kizomba

Six weeks of intensive dance training. Kizomba means “party”. It is sensual partner dance, characterised by slow and romantic rhythms.

Ladies Solo

…designed to fully focus on ladies. Work on latin basic steps, their technique and fundamentals. Warm yourself for arm styling, body movement. Great for you no matter if you want to just have fun or become a better dancer.

Men Styling

Dance and have fun while working on dance technique. Solo, footwork based class. A mixture of salsa and other dance styles.

Body Movement

Dancing comes through expression, and expression is fully possible only when the body becomes your instrument to play with. Let’s find out what parts can be moved? In which ways can we move these parts? How can we make the movement clean and expressive?

Choreography

12 weeks of intensive dance training. Salsa Cubana dance of a minimum of three minutes and a maximum of three and a half minutes.
